KETTLE BELL CLASSESGet ready to break a serious sweat with the kettle bell routine- which can be done in half the time of a traditional workout, producing twice the results! This is a simple, easy solution to transform you into a lean, strong, fat burning machine. Kettle Bells have a long history amoung European weight lifters and professional athletes. Often described as "cannonballs with a handle", they are used to develop strength, agility, endurance and balance because your entire body must be engaged to both lift them and then to control their swinging motion. Kettle Bells provide a unique challenge- you have to control it's swinging motion unlike a dumbbell where you have a fixed grip on the handle. Accelerating and decelerating the bell's momentum engages your core, strengthens your muscles and improves your balance. We offer classes on Tuesday at 5:30pm, Thursday at 5:30pm- Kettlebell Circuits (4wks only) and Saturday at 10:15am in the aerobic studio at the Mtn. View location. The classes consist of the following Kettle Bell techniques: Swings, Front Squats, Clean and Press, Turkish Get-up, Snatch, etc. Classes are limited to 15 participants and you must sign up and reserve a Kettle Bell weight; 5lbs, 10lbs, 15lbs, 20lbs and 25lbs. Members can sign up 24 hours prior to class time and Non-Members the day of class. The cost of the class will be: $5.00/member, $10.00/Non-member and a punch card is available for Members only at $27.00 (6 punches). Come try the newest, lastest toy and be prepared to sweat!!
